The sport Australia makes time for.

Footy weekends, summer cricket and the international fixtures worth staying up for. Start with the competitions you follow, then check your exact channels and fixtures in the current line-up.

AFL & AFLW

For Australian rules supporters, the viewing week revolves around their club: the round ahead, match coverage, analysis and the finals conversation. Include both AFL and AFLW in your trial preferences if you follow both competitions.

Use your trial to find the relevant channels, check the programme guide and test the picture during live play. A channel name alone does not confirm every match.

  • Check your club’s next fixture and its broadcast time.
  • Set the guide to your local time zone, especially across state daylight-saving changes.

NRL & State of Origin

Rugby league fans have a different rhythm: weekly rounds, interstate rivalry and the run into finals. Tell us whether you want NRL, NRLW, Origin or international rugby league so the channel check is specific.

Fast play is also a useful test of your setup. Watch a live feed on the television you will actually use, check motion and sound, and compare Ethernet with Wi-Fi if playback stops.

Cricket, Tests & the BBL

A Test afternoon and a Big Bash evening make very different viewing sessions. Include the formats you follow—Tests, limited-overs internationals, BBL or WBBL—when describing your must-watch list.

For longer sessions, check that your device stays awake and that the player reconnects reliably. Overseas tours may appear under different channels, and their start times need converting to your Australian location.

Australian & international football

Follow local football alongside overseas leagues, international competitions and national-team matches. A-League Men, A-League Women and overseas club football are useful starting points when preparing your preferences.

Early-morning overseas fixtures need an accurate guide. Catch-up and recording are separate features; do not assume that a live match will remain available afterwards.

  • Name the league or team, rather than only asking for football.
  • Confirm the exact fixture close to the match date.

Tennis & Australian Open season

From the Australian summer to the international tour, tennis coverage can span several courts and simultaneous matches. Tell us the tournament or player you are following when asking about availability.

Check whether the channel you find carries the court you want. Multiple connections allow separate screens within your plan limit; they do not create additional event feeds.

Motorsport, basketball & more

Formula 1, Supercars, NBA and NBL bring another set of live viewing interests. Motorsport weekends may include practice, qualifying and the main race, while basketball fans may want a particular team rather than a general sports channel.

Send a short list of the competitions that matter most. Our team can review the current selection before you commit. Competition names here describe viewing interests and do not imply an official broadcast partnership or guaranteed rights to every event.
