Open your device settings and find the model and software information. Google TV, Android TV and a generic Android box can expose different app stores and interfaces. Use instructions for the actual device rather than only its brand.
Update through the device’s own system menu when an update is available. Confirm that the remote and internet connection work before adding service details.
02Install a compatible player
On Google TV, search for your chosen app and open its store listing. Check the publisher and device compatibility before installing. Prefer a TV interface designed for remote navigation to a phone app stretched across a large screen.
If you select our player in the trial form, follow the installation instructions supplied for your device. Some third-party players charge their own activation fee.
03Enter the correct account fields
Choose the login method matching the access supplied. Keep the server address intact, including its scheme and any specified port. Paste a full playlist link only into a playlist field.
Wait for the catalogue and guide to load. If the app reports an authentication error, recheck the field mapping and remove accidental spaces before changing network settings.
04Check normal household use
Test live TV, on-demand playback and remote navigation from your normal viewing position. Check whether the issue affects one source or all sources if playback pauses.
For support, provide the device model, player version, network type and error text. Never include passwords. Stop another active stream before testing if you have a single connection.
