01First, identify the pattern
Try another live channel and one on-demand programme. Note whether playback fails immediately or pauses after several minutes. If only one stream is affected, record its name and the local time so support can check that source.
If everything on the device is slow, compare another internet app. If only one player is affected, note its version and any error message before resetting anything.
02Run one controlled network comparison
Try Ethernet when available, or move the device closer to the router. Pause large downloads briefly. Test again with the same player and stream so the comparison is useful.
An evening-only problem needs an evening test. A fast result at lunchtime does not establish what happens when your household and internet connection are busy.
03Check playback settings carefully
Restart the player and confirm your account is still active. Check that another device is not using your connection allowance. If the player offers hardware and software decoding, record the current option before trying an alternative.
Try a lower-quality version of the same content if available. This helps separate high-bitrate playback problems from a complete access failure. Do not change several advanced settings at once.
04Send a clear support report
Include the device model, app version, network type, affected stream, time zone and the comparisons you made. Describe whether the picture freezes, the sound stops or an error appears.
Avoid sending a full playlist URL, password or card details. For account-specific investigation, provide your request or order reference through the contact form.
